How to use the Fytyra Sculpting Device

The Fytyra Sculpting Device is built around a short routine you can actually keep. Five minutes, once a day, at the end of the evening. This page walks through exactly how to run it, what to apply first, how to move the head across the skin, and the small mistakes that make a device feel like it is doing nothing.

What you need before you start

Three things: clean skin, a water based serum or gel, and a charged device. That is the whole list.

The conductive gel matters more than people expect. The EMS setting needs moisture to carry the pulse from the metal head into the skin. On dry skin the current has nothing to travel through, so the setting feels weak or feels like nothing at all, and the head drags instead of glides. A plain water based hydrating serum, an aloe gel, or a dedicated conductive gel all work. Oil based products and thick creams are the wrong texture here, because they sit on top of the skin rather than carrying anything through it.

Charge the device fully before the first use. It is USB rechargeable and cordless, so once it is topped up you are free of the cable.

The five minute routine

1. Cleanse, one minute

Start with a clean face. If you want to use the Clean setting, apply your normal cleanser first, then switch the device on and let the sonic vibration work with it. Move in slow small circles across the cheeks, forehead and jaw. Rinse and pat dry when you are done.

2. Apply your serum, thirty seconds

Press a generous layer of water based serum or gel over the neck, jawline and cheeks. More than you would normally use. If the skin starts to feel tacky partway through the routine, add more. Tackiness is the signal that the glide has run out.

3. Warm and glide, two minutes

Switch to the Hot setting. The head warms to roughly forty five degrees Celsius by the supplier's rating, which reads as pleasantly warm rather than hot. Start at the base of the neck and sweep upward toward the jaw. Always upward, always slow. Count roughly three seconds for each pass. Do one side of the neck, then the other, then along the jawline from chin to ear.

The warmth is doing two jobs here. It relaxes the area, and it helps the serum spread and sink in rather than sitting on the surface.

4. EMS, one and a half minutes

Cycle to the EMS setting. You will feel a light tapping or fluttering sensation. It should never be sharp. Start on intensity level one, and only move up if level one feels like almost nothing. Three levels are available and most people settle on level one or two.

Keep the same upward sweeping motion. Neck first, then jawline, then cheeks. Keep the head in contact with the skin the whole time, because lifting it off and putting it back down is what causes the occasional sharp tick.

5. Eye setting, thirty seconds

Finish with the Eye setting, which is the gentlest of the four. Work outward along the brow bone and along the top of the cheekbone. Do not run the device on the eyelid itself.

6. Wipe down

Wipe the head with a soft damp cloth while the gel is still fresh. Dried gel on a metal head is far harder to remove later, and a clean head conducts better next time.

How often to use it

Daily is fine, and daily is the point. This is a ritual device, not an event device. Five minutes every evening beats twenty minutes once a week, because the value of a routine like this comes from consistency rather than intensity.

If your skin is reactive, start with three sessions a week for the first fortnight and build from there.

Where to use it and where not to

Good areas: the neck, under the jaw, along the jawline, the cheeks, and the brow bone and upper cheekbone on the Eye setting.

Avoid: the eyelid, the inside of the mouth, broken or irritated skin, active breakouts, sunburn, and anywhere you have had a cosmetic procedure in the last two weeks.

Five common mistakes

Not enough gel. By far the most common one. If the head drags, you need more product, not more intensity.

Moving too fast. A quick pass covers ground without giving the setting time to do anything. Slow it down to about three seconds per stroke.

Starting on the highest intensity. Level three is not the goal. Comfortable is the goal.

Working downward. The whole motion is upward and outward, following the natural line of the neck and jaw.

Skipping days and then doing a long session to catch up. It does not work that way. Short and regular is the whole idea.

Safety notes

The Fytyra Sculpting Device is a beauty and wellness device, not a medical treatment. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, and how it feels varies from person to person.
